2FA authentication is a method that keeps your account protected, you’ll need to link your email or mobile number and whenever you initiate a crypto payment in Rupeso platform, after PIN verification, OTP will be sent to your linked email address or mobile number which will be used as an extra layer of security.
How to enable 2-factor authentication?
Let's say a user wants to enable add-on security layer to the rupeso wallet. so, for this user will have to first navigate to profile section and toggle on 2-step authentication like below :
then, a popup window will appear which specifies the benefits of enabling 2-step verification, click on enable button to activate this service like below :
Once you enable it, then everytime user performs the crypto transactions like below :
Then after clicking confirm button, it will ask for the 6 digit PIN for the authenticating the transaction like below :
Once your PIN is validated on blockchain servers then rupeso server will send an OTP to your registered email address or mobile number which acts as a second step verification for the transaction like below :
Once you enter the correct OTP then your transaction will be processed on blockchain servers and result will be displayed like below :
